Stephanie Sepulveda

International Exchange Advisor, Smithsonian Office of International Relations

Stephanie Sepulveda is an International Exchange Advisor in the Smithsonian Institution’s Office of International Relations. Her work focuses on coordinating and managing the various needs of international individuals at the Smithsonian. She collaborates with SI units to ensure successful international exchange across the institution, with a special focus on advising incoming foreign researchers and other visitors. Her portfolio also includes programmatic and technical support for projects at OIR, including project management experience. 


Stephanie holds a BA in International Relations and a BS in Mass Communication from Florida International University, as well as an MA in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) where she focused on International Law and Organizations. She grew up between Venezuela and the US and has conducted research in different countries across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Despite all the delicious meals she’s had in her travels, Stephanie still thinks the Venezuelan arepa is the best food in the world!
